AHP Baseball Academy Adds Chatwood to Staff

January 26, 2021

Absolute Human Performance is extremely excited to announce the hiring of Jason Chatwood as Baseball Defensive Coordinator and Part-Time Instructor. Jason brings a wealth of coaching experience to the table. He is currently the Head Coach of the Sylvan Lake Gulls of the WCBL, as well as the Lead Instructor for the St. Joseph Baseball Academy, in Red Deer. He has also spent time coaching Team Alberta, and spent a year as a Graduate Assistant for Gonzaga University.

Jason also had an outstanding collegiate playing career. As a second-baseman he is still the career hits leader for Colby Community College. After two years at Colby, he played every game the following two seasons for Gonzaga University.

Jason will be instrumental in developing the defensive programming, philosophy, and drill work for the AHP Baseball Academy. He will work with our athletes remotely while also making the trip to St. Albert once a month. He will also assist in working with the hitters.

Taylor Burns, AHP's Director of Performance, is in his first year as Pitching Coordinator for the St. Joseph High School Baseball Academy. Absolute Human Performance is extremely excited to continue the growth of this partnership.
