For Athletes By Athletes.
This is AHP's most popular training model. Athletes are thoroughly evaluated using our assessment process on the first visit. We use the information from this first session to create a month-long individualized training program. New clients can expect the first month to be extremely coaching-intensive.
The AHP Baseball Academy is for serious and talented baseball athletes looking to play at the next level. Our mission is simple: to not only move our players on to college and/or professional baseball, but to prepare them to succeed once they get there
This program is for the serious hockey athlete only, who has the goal of playing at the next level. It fully integrates both athletic performance training as well as on-ice skill development. It combines everything AHP has to offer from a strength and conditioning perspective as well as: - Individualized puck skills development - Offensive and defensive concepts and habits - Situational awareness and reads development - Customized skating and edge work programming - Tactical and mental habit coaching - Game applicable drills and small area games
The vast majority of training at AHP occurs in the semi-private format with individualized programming. However, we do have some time potentially available for individuals to train 1-on-1 with our staff. These sessions may be a better fit for those who need to train outside of AHP's regular hours.
AHP is not just for athletes! We have many adult clients.Adult groups at AHP are designed to help you feel healthier and move better than you ever have! Each program is adapted to suit your current training level. Our community is very welcoming and will both encourage and motivate you to reach your goals. Our adult groups are available either two to three sessions per week, and each program is led by an AHP coach. The session always starts with soft-tissue work and a movement quality warm-up. Some dynamic work concludes the warm-up and then we move to the training floor for three well-rounded strength circuits. The hour then always finishes with some type of heart-healthy conditioning which could be anything from the rower to pushing sleds. At AHP, we believe in designing and coaching intelligent, well-rounded programs to promote health and longevity. Each session is led by an AHP coach who will show and tell you how to execute each exercise correctly. We look forward to helping you along your fitness journey!Current sessions are at the following times:Monday 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 12:00 pm, 9:00 pmTuesday 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 12:00 pm, 9:00 pmWednesday 12:00 pm, 8:30 pmThursday 6:00 am, 7:00 am 12:00 pm, 9:00 pmFriday 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 12:00 pmSaturday 8:00 am
Training at AHP may not be feasible geographically for all individuals. These visits may include technique audits, movement assessments, and programming advice. Any athlete who visits AHP for a consult can expect extremely detailed and individualized feedback. From there, the potential to join AHP online is a viable option for most.
We have an extremely unique training option for those who wish to utilize our programming and expertise but cannot train in-house with us. The program is tailored to to your individual goals and updated weekly. Each client has access to a video library, and an online community where they can upload videos of them performing exercises in order to receive feedback from our coaches.
